Personal, Not-For-Profit Reproduction
If you would like to use one of my birdbee drawings on your personal, non-profit blog or web site, you may do so provided that:
- the image is linked back to the source page on the birdbee blog.
- if you cannot provide a link, then the text “birdbee image copyright © Ed Beals” should appear directly below the image.
- the image has not been altered in any way.
If you would like to print one of my drawings on your home printer for your own personal, non-profit enjoyment, who’s going to stop you? No one, that’s who! When your friends all rave about it and ask where they can get a print too, I hope you will tell them about birdbee blog.
Fans of birdbee
You can help by purchasing a birdbee print, book, or other merchandise as it becomes available. Your purchase will help make it possible for me to continue drawing birdbee, instead of boring, soul-destroying ad work.
If you are one of those rare but wonderful people who likes to spend money, but has no need for more stuff, then you should know that I am not too proud to accept donations. Selling my art is great and makes me very happy, but donations get me right in the heart and I get all choked up and misty-eyed.
Fans of birdbee with no money to spend.
birdbee fans are awesome, even when they are broke. You can help simply by telling your friends about birdbee or by linking to this blog. If you tell me you have linked, perhaps I will link back in return. And never underestimate the power of your comments and feedback. I will read it all.
Editors, Art Directors, and Business People
If you would like to reproduce my drawings in your printed newspaper, magazine, or newsletter, or commercial blog or website, or any other use not specifically mentioned here, then you really do need to contact me first. We would have to discuss things like non-exclusive reproduction rights and artist royalties. I am very interested in publishing opportunities, so if you want to talk business, send me an e-mail.
